Directions from Route 29 North
Take 29 North into the City of Lynchburg. Once you arrive in the city, follow 29 Business until you see a Toyota Dealership on your right. This dealership will be just prior to the entrance to the River Ridge Mall. Just past the stoplight at the River Ridge Mall entrance, Exit onto the exit ramp that states 29 north (To Charlottesville) and 501 south. This will put you on the expressway. Follow 29 north to exit # 1A, Main Street Downtown. At the end of the ramp go right onto main street. Take a right at the 3rd stoplight onto 12th and turn left onto Commerce St. Turn left into the parking lot at the corner of 12th and Commerce with Central VA Criminal Justice Academy signs. Park your vehicle and walk up 12th until you see the City Market parking lot across the street on your left (about 1 block). Walk through the parking lot, up the stairs by the water fountain. The Academy entrance is to your left. Take the elevator to the second floor.
Directions from Route 29 South
Follow 29 South and Bypass the Town of Amherst and Madison Heights (Monacan Parkway). Exit onto Rt. 210 West, Downtown Lynchburg Exit. Take a right at the stop sign. At the third light take a left onto 29 South Business. Once you arrive in the city, take exit # 1, Main Street Downtown (Lower Basin). At the end of the ramp go left onto main street. Take a right at the 3rd stoplight onto 12th and turn left onto Commerce St. Turn left into the parking lot at the corner of 12th and Commerce with Central VA Criminal Justice Academy signs. Park your vehicle and walk up 12th street until you see the City Market parking lot across the street on your left (about 1 block). Walk through the parking lot, up the stairs by the water fountain. Directions from Route 460 East
Once you arrive in the city, take 501 South Boston Exit (Campbell Ave.) Go left onto Campbell Ave. and follow Campbell Ave. until you see an exit for 29 North, take this exit. Follow 29 north (Expressway) and take exit # 1A, Main Street Downtown. At the end of the ramp go right onto main street. Once you arrive in the city, take the 501 South, West 460 West Business exit onto Campbell Ave. until you see an exit for 29 North. Take this exit.
